Dragon Mart And Ibn Battuta Mall Celebrate Saudi National Day With Exciting Line-Up Of Cultural Activities
Dragon Mart and Ibn Battuta Mall will celebrate the 88th Saudi National Day this weekend, with a variety of traditional activities and live performances from 21 to 23 September.
Dragon Mart:
The festivities feature Ardah folklore dance performances by Saudi band, Al Saree on 22 September at Dragon Mart 2 from 8pm until 11pm. A traditional Ardah dance is performed by two rows of men standing across each other, wielding a cane or sword, to the beat of drums and spoken poetry.
Ibn Battuta Mall:
Celebrations feature traditional Saudi sword dance performances on 21 September. Timings are 5.45pm India Court; 6.45pm Persia Court; 8pm Egypt Court and 9pm Tunisia Court.
A roaming parade by Arabic folk dancers accompanied by musicians is scheduled on 22 September. Timings are 5.40pm India Court; 6.40pm Persia Court; 7.50pm Egypt Court and 8.50pm Tunisia Court.
Visitors can also enjoy complimentary Arabic coffee and dates at India Court on 21 and 22 September from 5:30pm until 9:30 pm. UAE and KSA flags will also be distributed at the customer service desks from 21 to 23 September.
