Celebrating the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, The Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) hosted a media suhoor this week, bringing together members of UAE’s media industry for a unique evening in an artistic setting.

Hala Badri, Director General at Dubai Culture, along with members of senior management at the Authority, warmly welcomed the media to ‘The Majlis’ by TBN, a historic villa known for its authentic Islamic and cultural appeal.

Both guests and employees experienced a unique evening filled with art and music by a traditional UAE band and an interactive live performance by talented Emirati artist Alia Al-Sanad, who created customised light portraits for the guests.

During this occasion, the Authority took the opportunity to express appreciation towards the media for their continuous support and role as an important pillar of society.

Dubai Culture aims to enhance Dubai’s cultural scene and draw attention to the UAE’s rich heritage. The Authority’s mandate is to build bridges of constructive dialogue between different civilisations and cultures to enhance Dubai’s position as a creative and sustainable global city for culture, heritage, arts, and literature, with the aim to empower these sectors by developing creative and innovative projects and initiatives locally, regionally, and globally.
