Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, has continued its ongoing efforts to raise awareness of the UAE’s growing heritage scene by providing craftsmen and women to take part in Dubai Mall’s event. The event ran from 10^th to 30^th in September and was also held this month from 09^th to the 12^th. The event was designed to celebrate the UAE’s rich history by reaching out to the community via a range of engaging heritage workshops and cultural activities.

The event showcased traditional crafts including coffee making, Al Talli embroidery making, and silver engraving, which attendees enjoyed watching created live in front of them by skilled artisans. Dubai Culture’s contribution to the event’s success reflects the Authority’s commitment to supporting local craftsmen and ensuring these arts are never lost, which is an important part of its wider mandate to preserve UAE heritage and pass it onto future generations.
