Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts, heritage, and literature, supported the ‘Back to School’ initiative which was launched by the Ministry of Education to welcome new students at the beginning of each year, with the aim to create an attractive and stimulating environment for them.

In support of this initiative, Dubai Heritage Development Centres will distribute gifts to the students of the five centres: Otbah Bin Ghazwan, Al Kuwait, Omar Bin Al Khattab, Nad Al Hammar, and AL Maktoum.

Fatma Lootah, Manager of Dubai Heritage Development Centres at Dubai Culture, said: “Our support for this initiative reinforces our relationship with Dubai Education Zone with whom we have launched many cooperation initiatives, including Dubai Heritage Development Centres in five public schools to date. With this initiative that spans the country, our aim is to highlight our role in assuming responsibilities towards society, by creating a happy environment for children at their schools and developing positive interactions among students in various institutions.”

Through this initiative, government agencies, with the help of the schools in the country, seek to welcome new students and encourage them to learn and fortify their knowledge by helping them adapt to school environments at the beginning of every new school year.

Dubai Culture aims to enhance Dubai’s cultural scene and draw attention to the Emirate’s rich heritage with a variety of initiatives that take place throughout the year. The Authority’s mandate is to build bridges of constructive dialogue between different civilisations and cultures through enriching initiatives that benefit Dubai’s citizens, residents, and visitors.
