The Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has won the ‘Excellence Award for Arab Government Achievements’ for external maintenance services provided to its customers, during a ceremony organized recently by the Excellence Awards Academy in the Arab region, at Roda Al Bustan hotel in Dubai. DGW has won the award for the innovation category in external engineering maintenance services, employing the latest innovative methods that help reduce the length of service delivery, thus reducing costs and increasing happiness and customer’s satisfaction.

H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, Deputy Executive Director, expressed his appreciation for the award, noting that it is testament to the Workshop’s hard work and keen efforts to adopt innovation across the department, harnessing all potentials and resources, in line with the vision to provide distinguished and pioneering services. He added that the Workshop has the best experts, engineers and specialists in the field of maintenance, repair and inspection vehicles, and adopts the highest international standards and practices for the safety and happiness of customers, in line with the Workshop’s strategy to adopt innovation and contribute to the efforts leading the UAE to become a global model for leadership in government performance.

The External Maintenance Department is in charge for the planning and implementation of preventive maintenance programs for vehicles owned by government entities, including the annual maintenance for renewal, as well as coordination with external companies in the implementation of all necessary repairs after thorough examination at the Workshop’s headquarters.

The ‘Excellence Award for Arab Government Achievements’ aims to highlight all the achievements by government entities in the Arab region in various fields by measuring the satisfaction of customers with the quality of services provided.
