Monthly Dog swimming classes with Ginger’s Way

As part of the exciting dog-friendly calendar at Dubai Islands Beach, the dog-training academy, Ginger’s Waywill host its popular dog swimming classes on 17 November, 24 November and 8 December. The sessions are designed for dogs of all sizes and swimming abilities who will receive guidance from experts to help them safely and confidently learn to swim in open water while having fun splashing around. The classes will run for 8 dogs only, from 9AM to 9:30AM.

First-of-its-kind outdoor cinema experience

On November 9, Dubai Islands Beach will host a unique outdoor cinema experience where dogs are welcome to join in the fun. This free, first-of-its-kind movie night allows guests to bring their pups along as their plus-one. With treats available for both visitors and their pets, the event promises an unforgettable evening by the beach. The screening begins at 8 PM, offering the perfect way to relax with a furry companion.

Woofstock: Third edition of Dubai’s dog friendly festival

Woofstock returns to Dubai Islands Beach for its third year, taking place on 23 and 24 of November. Organised by Doggie Adventures in Dubai, the free-to-attend festival will welcome dog lovers, pup parents, and families for a jam-packed weekend of dog-friendly activities, live music, workshops, and family entertainment.

The festival will feature off-leash play areas, water sport activities by Seawake, and arts and crafts workshops hosted by Wild Paint House from 8 AM to 3 PM, and FoscArts from 4 PM to 10 PM. Visitors can also explore a variety of interactive and educational workshops. Two rescue organization areas will be set up, with Al Mayya K9 having a dedicated space and other organizations rotating every two hours. Attendees can also look forward to exciting demonstrations by Sahara Kennel and Four Winds, with potential participation from Dubai Police K9.

Live entertainment will be available from 4 PM onwards on both days, with performances from local artists. The vendor area will feature 10 to 20 market stalls, with F&B options from February 30 and many more.
