Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), the regulatory body for Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park, today hosted the fourth edition of its Happiness Forum at InterContinental Dubai Festival City.

The Happiness Forum is a bi-annual event that provides a platform to exchange knowledge and explore best practices related to corporate happiness. This year’s edition convened 20 senior officials from DSOA and 70 representatives from leading public and private sector organizations to discuss initiatives aimed at boosting corporate happiness.

The event drew the participation of Drydocks World, Smart Dubai, Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, Federal Electricity & Water Authority, Roads & Transport Authority, DP World, General Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Airport Freezone Authority, Etisalat, Emirates Group, Emirates Transport, Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, and the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation.

The forum featured various sessions seeking to build synergies among participating organizations. A presentation by Drydocks World highlighted the entity’s best practices in corporate happiness and social responsibility. Meanwhile, panel discussions led by experts from DSOA, Smart Dubai, Dubai Police, and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai emphasized the importance of achieving corporate happiness. While Biz Group presented their successful model on employee happiness.

Speaking on the event, Dr Juma Al Matrooshi, Deputy CEO for Operations and Client Affairs at DSOA, said: “The Happiness Forum was born from DSOA’s dedication to maximizing corporate happiness internally as well as fulfilling its social responsibility in the community. The event reflects DSOA’s commitment to supporting the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the happiest city in the world.”
