The 5th Annual Construction Summit is set to take place on October 23, 2019 at The Westin Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Dubai. His Excellency Hussain Almahmoudi, CEO of Sharjah Research Technology & Innovation Park to deliver a keynote speech at the summit. The guests will be welcomed by Paul Wallett, Regional Director, Trimble Solutions Middle East & India discussing the 3 C’s of The Constructible Process at the summit organized by Trimble Solutions Middle East.

This year, the summit is themed around Embracing Constructability – Going Beyond Building Information Modeling (BIM). Industry experts from different professions of construction and technology sector will be involved in the discussions about construction work process and technology that go beyond BIM. They will also discuss region’s latest developments, market insights after the announcement of mega-projects like the Expo 2020 & Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision, and much more.

His Excellency Hussain Almahmoudi, CEO of Sharjah Research Technology & Innovation Park will be talking about the potential role of emerging technologies as a catalyst for radical change in the construction ecosystem followed by a presentation on “Saudi Vision 2030- the $425 billion infrastructure plan” by David Glennon, Digital Delivery Director at The Red Sea Development Company who will also throw some light on the smart city masterplan. The summit to also cover a presentation on “How 5G make smart cities and connected sites a reality” by Fadi Shanaah, Senior Director, Head of Enterprise Sales at Etisalat.

Paul Wallett, Regional Director, Trimble Solutions Middle East & India will be giving a key note speech on the potential role of emerging technologies as a catalyst for radical change in the construction ecosystem. Commenting on the topic, he said, “With the changing industry landscape, region is dominated globally with the headlines about the importance of technology and its contribution towards the growth of the sector. The use of latest cutting-edge technologies in the region’s construction sector has helped the stakeholders in smooth communication on site and manage the most complex structures such as the Museum of the Future in the UAE transforming it to realty.”
