The UAE’s Golden Jubilee is all set to be celebrated with a bang, as Dubai lights up with a series of incredible fireworks displays and landmark projections taking place across the city.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the upcoming Year of the 50th UAE National Day fireworks and landmark projections will be like no other, as visitors and residents alike come together to celebrate the country’s milestone.

On both December 2 and 3, The Pointe & Atlantis, The Palm will light up with a phenomenal fireworks display at 8pm. Residents and visitors are invited to book tables in advance at any of the Pointe’s iconic restaurants to enjoy the show.

In the past year, Bluewaters has quickly become one of Dubai’s most attractive destinations, especially since the launch of Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel. The Bluewaters Fireworks will take place on 2 December at 8:30pm.

At 9pm on 2 December, those who want to experience a sea view with a difference should head to Etisalat Beach Canteen at Jumeirah Beach, just behind Sunset Mall. With a myriad of food options and live entertainment, this fireworks display can be enjoyed by those present at the ever-popular beach hangout.

On December 3, La Mer, one of Dubai’s most loved winter destinations, will dazzle residents and visitors alike with a magnificent fireworks display at 8:30 pm. The world’s most iconic hotel Burj Al Arab, will be no different, with a host of spectacular fireworks set to light at 9pm on 3 December. Not only that, Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, Ain Dubai and The Frame Dubai will also display projections of the colours of the UAE flag on 2 and 3 December, from 7 until 11pm.
