Ducab Seeks To Empower Emirati Youth With Bew Bidayiti Talent Programme
As part of the nation’s Emiratisation strategy, Ducab has announced the launch of ‘Bidayiti’, a programme which appeals to Emiratis and enhances their work skills across different sectors. The objective of the programme, that translates to “The Beginning”, is to contribute to building the UAE’s manufacturing industry, a key pillar in UAE Vision 2020 and the country’s national economy.
Bidayiti provides interns with 12 months of on the job training, with the goal of providing a rich educational experience, introducing the trainees to real life work environments, and highlighting the importance of the manufacturing sector and its role in achieving economic prosperity for the UAE. The programme will include training in various departments at Ducab, including Human Resources, Commercial, Marketing, IT, Audit, Supply Chain, and High Voltage.
Ducab will work to support all trainees to ensure they receive maximum benefits from the programme, and will provide them with recommendations and advice that will strengthen their experiences.
Every Bidayiti trainee will receive a monthly salary, as well as health insurance and an opportunity to join Ducab as a full-time employee upon successful completion of their year long training.
