Fashion Victims Season 2 Schedule
Fashion Victims Season 2 has brought together talents from around the world to relish a holistic fashion event on April 3rd 2015 at the Atlantis. The event will see Nancy Ajram, Lebanese singer and Arabic music icon attend the fashion shows and the awards dinner, and have labels like Sorapol, Math Collective, Joshua Fenu, Taibo Bacar, Sponsa, and Canella Hostal and Am1ra of ESMOD showcasing their magnificent collections to leave the audience mesmerized.

Fashion Victims Workshops
To better understand the fashion industry in the UAE and worldwide, Fashion Victims is hosting three workshops from 11:30am to 2:30pm. The first workshop by ESMOD Dubai, the established fashion school, will talk audience through the evolution of fashion through different stages in history, particularly fashion studies and how online learning has changed fashion education.
Following ESMOD, the renowned stylist and fashion author Kelly Lundberg will hold an interactive workshop on ‘The Power Of A Stylist’. As a part of the interactive workshops, Kelly will also answer audience’s questions on the topic and provide general styling tips.
The last workshop by Shahzad Mohayudin, founder of the label Math Collective along with Georgina Woollams, founder of Evolution of Fashion will consult young designers and fashion devotees on how to grow brands internationally. Both the speakers have been frequent participants at London Fashion Week and will cover subjects that would help designers secure a spot on different fashion weeks, the technical aspects of showcasing and even understanding fashion from a buyer’s perspective.
Fashion Victims Season 2 Runway
Adding on to the lineup of designers, Fashion Victims is thrilled to announce that UK based designer Shahzad Mohayudin will showcase his label Math Collective. Known to have taken the London Fashion Week by storm, Math Collective’s designs reflect luxury and capture the essence of whole rather than it being more than a single element. Combinations of contrasting texture with strong graphic influences have become a signature of the brand.
Alongside his own collection, Shahzad has also collaborated with French Footballer Djbril Cisse to create a new luxury concept, Mr. Lenoir / MAVRO.
Fashion Victims is also pleased to host Sorapol. The prized UK based design house is the creation of Head Designer Sorapol Chawaphatnakul and Creative Director Daniel Lismore. The designs blend conventional artisanal techniques with modern silhouettes and decadent luxury. Along with their Autumn/Winter collection, Sorapol is eager to showcase luxurious and plush Grand Soir collection at the second season of Fashion Victims. Acclaimed for their unique and mesmerizing visions, Sorapol and Lismore’s outfits have been spotted on style icons from Paloma Faith, Cara Delevingne, to Azealia Banks and Nicki Minaj, in addition to a coterie of discerning private clients.
Along with Math and Sorapol, the other brands who are confirmed to showcase at Fashion Victims include celebrity accessories designer, Joshua Fenu, who also is the consultant for Alexandar McQueen; Taibo Bacar, the first ever African designer to showcase at Milan Fashion Week;and the exceptionally talented Canela Hostal and Amira Salim, presented by ESMOD.
The Middle East Fashion Awards
Nominations are now open for The Middle East Fashion Awards by Fashion Victims for the categories of Best Emerging Designer, Best Abaya Designer, Most Innovative Designer, Outstanding Achievement, Special recognition, Best Accessories Designer, Best Fashion Blogger, Best Fashion Photographer, Best Make Up Artist, Best Hairstylist and Best Stylist. The winners would be decided by a prestigious group of panelists and industry experts, would be announced at the awards dinner, hosted by Shereen Mitwalli on the same day of the event.
