Fitness In DXB Launch The Quest For The Region’s Fittest Human
Fitness In DXB, the region’s first and largest community fitness group has launched its search to find who really is the fittest. Is it footballers, runners, crossfitters or maybe even professional brunchers, who knows?
The first upcoming competition on the calendar is the Fittest Human – Battle of the Nations on October 26th at The World’s Ultimate Strongman event in Bab Al Shams arena Dubai. This will be your chance to represent your country in a team battle to see which nation is the fittest in the UAE, with entries coming in from around the world, including the UK, India, France and Lebanon.
The concept was developed by the team of fitness professionals to test the abilities of ordinary men and women, as well as professional athletes, that can be used as both as a tool to measure improvement as well as a test to see who really is the fittest. From the organised competitive events they have an online leaderboard (www.fittesthuman.com/
Jonny Young, founder of Fitness In DXB commented: “I wanted to design a test even my mum could do, but she’d just have a significantly lower score that the world’s best athletes – or who knows maybe not!”
Everyone is invited to do the initial qualification test which only takes two minutes and consists of agility jumps, rowing power and squatting. Your score will then be added to the leaderboard which you can try and improve anytime. If you score in the top two males or females from your country, you may win selection into ‘The Fittest Human – Battle of the Nations’ where there is over AED20,000 of prizes to take home.
Do you have what it takes? To qualify, visit one of the local gyms listed on www.fittesthuman.com including 6P, Gymnation and TKMMA Fitness and take the Fittest Human Short Test.
