Dubai’s ultra-luxe cocktail lounge, Galaxy Bar, has been ranked number 45 by World’s 50 Best Bars. Only the second venue in the Middle East to make it to the top 50, the opulent lounge has strived to be the best since reopening in 2020, to earn their world-famous status.

Galaxy Bar is known for its intimate space, world-class cocktails, stellar service, and electric atmosphere. The sumptuous interior is a temple to Athenian culture with a sculpted bar, terrazzo floor and stars on the ceiling that represent the Athens night sky. Ranking number 67 in last year’s global competition, and named as Campari’s ‘One to Watch’, the Galaxy Bar team have spent 2021 making the popular Dubai lounge an even better experience than before. Pouring their hearts and souls into the world-famous bar, the award-winning team are ecstatic with their well-deserved win. Source of the increased attention on the iconic Dubai venue, Galaxy Bar announced the launch of a stellar new cocktail menu in July. Inspired by the wonders of the universe, the Galaxy Bar family showcased 12 unique serves – each an ode to a celestial being or constellation. The team spent a year perfecting the drinks, all of which were conceptualized with truly rare flavour combinations. To celebrate the launch of the dazzling menu, Galaxy Bar commissioned a limited-edition, leather-bound, gold recipe book. Only 36 copies were printed – representing 36 months of Galaxy Bar’s existence at the time – and were gifted to an exclusive list of VIPs and valued guests located around the world.

Not only did the Galaxy Bar family release an all-new cocktail menu in 2021, but the cocktail lounge also brought a taste of Cyprus to the heart of Dubai’s financial district. Hosting a guest shift with fellow World’s 50 Best Bar’s ranker, Lost + Found Drinkery, bartenders Dinos Constantinides and Diamantis Argyrou showcased four, specially curated Rémy Martin-based concoctions for one exclusive evening ‘Getting Lost Under the Stars’.

Hosting another exclusive event in September to honor the world’s premier cocktail industry event, Tales of the Cocktail, Galaxy Bar has been showing its guests why they deserve a spot in the top 50. For one night only, 50 special guests were transported to the vibrant city of New Orleans to experience ‘Galaxy Tales’. The night was one to remember with revelers enjoying five handcrafted New Orleans-inspired cocktails and a selection of indulgent canapés, whilst listening to the soulful sounds of jazz singer Andrea Flórez.
