The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai is set to host the 4th edition of the “Tourism and Travel” exhibition, titled “Happiness in Travel,” from July 2nd to 12th, 2024, at their headquarters in Al Jaffiliya. The event aims to offer employees and visitors a chance to explore a wide range of tourism and travel products and services.

The exhibition is also designed to showcase the offerings of airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and leisure destinations, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to discover tailored vacation packages and exclusive deals for themselves and their families. Additionally, attendees can take advantage of the best offers and exclusive privileges during the event.

This year, the event features participation from 62 entities, including 8 from the aviation sector, 8 travel and tourism offices, 8 cruise ship operators, 14 leisure providers, and 28 hoteliers.

His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, stressed that GDRFA is committed to enhancing the quality of life for employees and achieving job happiness, which is a top priority for achieving outstanding performance. By providing a stimulating and supportive work environment, the Directorate seeks to raise job satisfaction and enhance organisational loyalty, which in turn positively impacts the quality of services provided to customers.

Major Brigadier Awad Al Awaim, Assistant General Director of Human Resources and Finance Sector at GDRFA Dubai, highlighted that the exhibition is part of ongoing efforts to promote happiness and improve the work environment, thereby enhancing staff performance and professional skills.
