With the Dubai summer in full swing and Eid break fast approaching many are hopping on planes for exploration of faraway places. However, The Green Planet is set to offer a truly exotic experience and the perfect refuge for residents and visitors to the region.

From Friday the 9th August to Tuesday the 13th August, the stunning tropical biodome will be offering five days of energetic, fun and educational interactions for guests over the Eid break.

The line-up of exciting activities are included in the general admission price which can be purchased online for just AED 99, offering explorers the chance to meet, greet and ask questions about some of The Green Planet’s favourite residents.

From witnessing a live Piranha feeding session to learning more about the love story of The Green Planet’s famed slow loris – this is a day of adventure that’s not to be missed!

Monkey Madness – Daily at 11:00am

Start the day with some monkey madness as the squirrel monkeys and Tamarins go wild! The Green Planet rangers will be on hand for a training and feeding session as well as answering all your burning questions about these cute and cuddly primates.

Getting Batty! – Daily at 12.00pm

Do you dare to enter into Dubai’s first and only Bat Cave? Explorers welcome! Guests can immerse themselves into darkness and experience The Green Planet bats at their most active time of day… feeding time!

Piranha Feeding Frenzy – Daily at 1pm & 5pm

Imagine watching a blood thirsty piranha and then imagine seeing that x 1000! Guests can witness a feeding frenzy when several kilos of meat gets lowered into the water for the 1000 piranhas that call The Green Planet home – you may even hear one bark.

Amazing Archer Fish – Daily at 2pm

Witness the glorious Archer fish known to spit with a perfect aim, guests are invited to admire their incredible skill as they hit targets above water for their food. The Green Planet biologists will be on hand for questions from all budding David Attenborough’s.

Lonely Loris Love Story – Daily at 3pm

Step into the love story of Hope and Amal and let them capture your hearts! The doe-eyed couple wake from their nocturnal sleeping pattern to greet guests (and have a snack or two!) Learn about their story and arrival to The Green Planet and witness their happily ever after.

The Green Planet’s Feathered Forest Presentation – Daily at 4pm

If birds fascinate and intrigue you, this is the presentation you do not want to miss! Witness a macaw take flight, learn your toucans from your parrots and sing with song birds at the picturesque rainforest canopy.

A Walkabout Down Under – Daily at 6pm

End your day Down Under at the Australian Walkabout with the chance to meet some of the outback’s scariest creatures! Watch snakes and large lizards feast on their prey and come face to face with lizards, kookaburras, and geckos.
