Girders Garden is set to host its first comedy night of 2019 at the indoor and outdoor venue on the 10th April 2019.

Three popular British comedians will take to the stage at the much-loved sports bar at JA Ocean View Hotel along The Walk, JBR from 8pm, with the bar due to open for pre-drinks at 6.30pm.

The event will see award-winning female comedian and Dubai-based expat Sonja Jayne Salmon host the night. With over 20 years of experience under her belt, Sonja guarantees the giggles while UK comedian, Mike McClean is also set to take to the stage. Endearingly known as the ‘roving reporter’, Mike came to fame on the classic 90’s TV show, the Big Breakfast. During his time on the classic show, Mike interviewed the likes of Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt and Britney Spears. Mike is renowned as one of the best comedians at audience interaction a nd for being funny, even when he’s trying not to be.

Alongside Sonja and Mike, British born Phil Walker will also be on hand to entertain the masses. With a relaxed, fun and easy comedy style, ‘northerner’ Phil has won a number of comedy awards including the City Life Comedian of the Year 2002; of which previous winners include Peter Kay, Steve Coogan, John Bishop and Jason Manford.

Entry costs just AED130 and includes a free cocktail. Happy hour will run until closing.
