Grand Millennium Dubai Recognised For Environmental Protection Efforts
Grand Millennium Dubai, a 5-star property located in Barsha Heights has been recognised for its commitment towards the protection and preservation of the environment.
The property received the CSR Environmental Award from the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) during the 22nd Annual Corporate Gala Dinner held under the Patronage and in the presence of H.E. Eng. Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Bin Saqr Al-Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah.
The EEG Annual Corporate brought together the cream of the public and private sector that have demonstrated an inherent commitment towards the environment and sustainable development. At the event, EEG acknowledged and honoured organisations and individuals whose support fuels the operations and activities of the group.
Oussama Chalak, General Manager of Grand Millennium Dubai said, “Our commitment to respecting and protecting the environment as well as the local community inspired us to participate in different local and national environmental programmes. We are thankful to EEG for recognising our effort. This award will further motivate our team to continue implementing policies and strategies to safeguard the environment.”
Feras Al Sadek, marketing in charge of Grand Millennium Dubai accepted the token of appreciation in recognition of the property’s continued contribution towards social and environmental causes.

Grand Millennium Dubai participates in local and national environmental awareness events such as Clean Up The World, Beat Diabetes Walk, Earth Hour and the Taddamon programme launched by the Millennium Hotels and Resorts Middle East Africa to encourage guests staying at participating Millennium hotels the option to donate AED 5 to the non-profit organization. The Group recently presented a cheque donation of AED 50,633 to Al Jalila Foundation to help fund its medical research.
