From 11 to 15 May, residents and visitors hitting the malls can enjoy a wide range of exciting retail promotions as well as plenty of thrills, spills and adrenaline pumping action at some of Dubai’s most unique attractions.

Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has highlighted some of the best shopping deals and family entertainment around the city. All of the malls, stores and venues follow the important health and safety rules such as social distancing and wearing masks at all times.

From traditional scents to the latest designer make-up shades, shoppers can pick up the ideal Eid Al Fitr gift with great deals at big name perfume and cosmetics retailers. Customers who spend AED550 in Sephora stores will receive an exclusive gift bag for free. Al Mukhalat Perfume will offer savings of 25 to 75 per cent on some of its most popular colognes and perfumes. Abdul Samad Al Qurashi stores will tempt shoppers with half price offers on selected items. Oud Elite has a wide range of deals for Eid Al Fitr with prices starting from AED70, Arabian Oud will offer 50 per cent off everything, Ajmal 25 to 50 per cent and Emirates Pride Perfume will officially launch its new Eid Collection featuring three unique scents created especially for the occasion.

Sports & Outdoors
Adventurous shoppers can stock up on the latest sports equipment and clothing with huge savings to be found on major brands during Eid. Surf and beachwear stores Rip Curl, Oakley and Seafolly will each reduce prices by 25 to 75 per cent with sporting goods outlet Go Sport offering savings of 25 to 60 per cent.

Fashion Clothing
Dressing up in new clothes is a much-loved Eid Al Fitr tradition, and this year residents and visitors will have lots of choice with brands reducing prices on a range of items. Shoppers at River Island stores can enjoy special deals including Buy Two, Get One Free on selected items and Buy One, Get the Second Half Price. FOREVER 21, Hanayen and Wrangler will drop prices by 25 to 75 per cent with 25 to 40 per cent off at Zilli stores. Shoppers will receive a special Eid reward when they spend AED250 at Vinci or AED300 at Okaidi stores. Shoemart will introduce shoppers to its first-ever capsule collection: Lulu Loves Celeste. A collaboration with Saudi shoe designer Lulu Al Hassan, the limited edition range includes 12 exciting looks and styles.

Electronics
Shoppers can find great deals on the latest gadgets and newest technology during Eid Al Fitr with 25 to 75 per cent off at E-City and I FIX Mobile Trading, plus savings and store vouchers available on selected products at Jacky’s Electronics.

Footwear & Accessories
Step out in style this Eid Al Fitr with the latest looks from the best shoe brands and designer names. Giuseppe Zanotti Design stores will reduce prices on selected items by 40 per cent, K-Corner will offer savings of 25 to 75 per cent and Buy One, Get One Free at branches of Al Iscafi.

Gold & Jewellery
Some of Dubai’s best gold and jewellery merchants will tempt shoppers with choice deals on a wide range of designs. Customers who spend AED500 or more will save AED100 at branches of Guess & Gc Boutique while Zen Diamonds will offer a great Buy One Piece, Get the Second Free deal. Customers at Jawhara Jewellery stores will discover 50 per cent savings on selected diamond and pearl jewellery, zero per cent making charges on selected jewellery and a range of free gifts, including jewellery boxes and ladies watches, when they buy jewellery priced over AED5,000. Damas stores will gift customers with a free pearl bracelet when they spend AED3,500 on diamond or pearl jewellery, while Watch Gallery will give away gift vouchers worth AED250 with every purchase over AED1,000. Eid Al Fitr is the ideal time to revamp the home with super savings to be found, including 30 to 55 per cent off at Interiors, 25 to 55 per cent off at Almarjan, 25 to 60 per cent at Iwan Maktabi Carpets and 25 to 75 per cent reductions at Bed Bags And Beyond. Bloomingdale’s will host a 30 per cent sale on selected pieces, with 40 per cent off selected items at Crate and Barrel.

Family Activities
During the Eid Al Fitr break, families can catch a performance of La Perle at Al Habtoor City. Tickets for daily performances of the thrilling aerobatics show will start from AED169 and the special Eid offer runs until May 15. Dubai Dolphinarium will cut the price of admission to its Live Dolphin & Seal show by 25 per cent for customers using the promo code EID25. The offer is available from 12 to 15 May. Ski Dubai’s special Eid Al Fitr pass will also be available from 12 to 15 May. Priced AED285, it includes unlimited access to all Snow Park rides, a chairlift ride and a choice of one experience: meet the penguins, a ski lesson, access to the slope for two hours or two rides on the sub-zero zipline. Valid until 31 August, Wild Wadi Waterpark’s UAE Residents Summer Pass guarantees fun for families during Eid Al Fitr. Youngsters headed to Bounce, the indoor trampoline park in Dubai Festival City Mall and Al Quoz, can enjoy two hours of fun for AED99 while Smash Room, in Al Quoz, will offer 10 per cent off for kids over the Eid break. Music lovers can see legendary Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez perform ‘live’ at the Dubai Opera during Eid with shows on 13 and 14 May. The stunning venue will stage the first-ever hologram concert by the late artist, with a 90-minute show of some of his most popular songs.

Eidiyat Dubai
Dubai Shopping Mall Group will give away cash up to AED200,000 to lucky shoppers during the Eid Al Fitr break. Customers who spend AED200 at any of the group’s 11 malls and shopping centres up until May 15 will receive a raffle coupon. The prize draw will be held over the three days of the Eid holidays. A total of 40 people will win AED5,000 each, with 20 raffle winners announced on day one and 10 winners on days two and three. Participating malls include: Bustan Centre, Al Ghurair Centre, Al Warqa City Mall, Burjuman Centre, Binsougat Centre, Dubai Outlet Mall, Oasis Mall, Shurooq Community, Reef Mall, Time Square Center and Union Coop Al Qouz.
