Harbour Force’s Epic Water Stunts Make Waves At Global Village
Performed in the region for the very first time, Global Village’s stunt show is keeping spectators on the edge of their seats with Harbour Force, a brand new production for this season with jaw-dropping water stunts.
Enjoyed by guests since the start of the season at the UAE and wider region’s leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, the multi-dimensional show further enhances the park’s portfolio of unique attractions.
Harbour Force features a 75ft (23m) high dive tower, jet-ski fire-jumps and gravity-defying double fly-board action stunts carried out by 14 highly skilled stuntmen handpicked for the show from nine countries around the globe.
Harbour Force is based on the concept of a movie shoot at a harbour-side sound stage in which two assistants add their ideas for an extra layer of action with fly boards and jet skis. For the first time in the Middle East, Chase Testa, a high diver and comedy actor, and James RobertCurtis, the UK’s leading fly boarder, have joined forces to perform adrenaline-fuelled water stunts.
High diver Chase Testa said: “What’s so great about Harbour Force is that it isn’t just a stunt show — it’s an experience that puts smiles on people’s faces. We have worked hard to bring the action-packed story to life and the response from the audience has been great. I can hear them all the way up on the platform, despite the winds, which makes my experience as a performer truly epic.”
The hydro performers fearlessly twirl and jump through the air, capturing the audience’s attention. Their immaculate routine consists of daring stunts and impressive flips, wowing guests with a performance unlike any they have previously seen.
Fly boarder James Robert Curtis said: “Pursuing my passion for flyboarding and combining a variety of stunts to create a unique show for the first time in the Middle East is incredibly exciting. This is also the first time I have been so close to the audience and there’s an element of interaction which brings an energy to the show that you won’t find anywhere else.”
Both Chase and Testa are highly experienced, with specialised training in stage combat, gymnastics, diving and rappelling that come in handy whether it’s a wild car chase, a death-defying jump or an incredible tumbling sequence. Impressing guests with high-calibre performances, they leave a long-lasting impression.
It’s not too late too late to catch the Stunt Show at Global Village with daily shows (except Mondays) until 10th April.
Entry to Harbour Force Stunt Show, running until April 10, is AED15 per person.
