Al Shindagha Museum, an entity of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, is developed collaboratively between Dubai Municipality, Dubai Culture, and Dubai Tourism. It opens doors for visitors to a fascinating insight into the rich past of the UAE through two houses: Dubai Creek: Birth of a City and The Perfume House.

Dubai Creek: Birth of a City is where visitors can discover how trade with the outside world began and guided Dubai’s extraordinary development. Visitors set sail across the centuries to a time when Dubai’s modern society was beginning to take shape on the shimmering blue waters of its famous ‘khor’ – the traditional creek or waterway. Story of the Creek offers a state-of-the-art multimedia experience, including an informative and inspiring film that allows visitors to immerse themselves in personal stories that bring the neighbourhood to life. A unique sensory experience, it tells the universal tale of the power of the human spirit and how Dubai’s inhabitants managed to build a successful city rooted in its heritage and taking wisdom from the past.

The Perfume House is home to a multi-sensory perfume experience that showcases traditional handmade perfume-making techniques to highlight local heritage and includes a visual timeline on the art of perfumery from across the region.

Tickets for Al Shindagha Museum + Etihad Museum are priced at AED 35 per person. Visitors can also book a complete package inclusive of a visit to At the Top and both fascinating museums.
