Food Enthusiasts from Dubai’s media community were treated to a sneak peek into Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck’s Taste of Italy restaurant this week. Dubai’s latest exciting new casual dining offering is the Michelin-starred chef’s first casual dining experience in the region, and one that is creating a well-deserved buzz among the city’s discerning gourmands who seek a more interactive eating experience. Located in the heart of Jumeirah at Galleria Mall on Al Wasl road, Taste of Italy distinguishes itself through its harmonious blending of the best of Italian cuisine with an immersive experience that places customers at the very heart of the cooking action.

The event saw media attendees being able to meet world famous chef Heinz himself and get a peek into his award-winning restaurant. No stranger to the UAE, Chef Heinz has developed a well–deserved and industry-wide reputation as a master of gastronomy, establishing himself amongst both his peers and discerning diners as an innovative and uncompromising purveyor of the very best epicurean experiences. Aside from being awarded with a total of no less than five coveted Michelin stars, his other impressive accolades include the 2002, Chef of the Year by the International Congress of Gastronomy in 2003, as well as the prestigious Ritz Carlton Life Time Achievement Award. Heinz is bringing his culinary art to the UAE following a hugely successful response from customers looking for five-star casual dining experiences in the region.

Heinz will be giving a Master Class in gastronomic cooking as part of the Masterclass Series at this year’s Dubai Food Festival in March. Participants will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to engage with Heinz Beck in person. In addition, they will be able to sample some of Taste of Italy’s most delectable bites, enjoy a cooking demo and gain invaluable insights into the world of culinary magnificence from the man himself.
