Need to recover from your daily stress? City Centre Deira invites you to escape the hustle, and relax, refresh and recharge at the mall’s new Spring/Summer ’19 Fashion Experience leisure pop up. The vibrant space in the West Court, Level 2 will offer a temporary escape for shoppers from their daily stress with plenty of rejuvenating activities, wellness sessions, fitness classes and interactive games until April 11.

Rock and fashion roll

Present your shopping receipts to play the exciting ‘Fashion Roll’ game and win prizes. Shoppers will receive an iPad to answer fun, fashion and beauty related multiple-choice questions. Participants that get the most answers correct can proceed to roll the life-sized dice and pick a numbered door in the 3D “C” structure at the pop up zone. Behind each door is a surprise, including skincare products, make-up and mall GiftCards.

Get a sketched memento

Want to see how you’d look in haute couture? A fashion illustrator at ‘Fashion Experience’ will draw up a picture of you in a Spring/Summer ’19 outfit, complete with this season’s trends of ruffles, feathers and floral prints on weekends starting March 29, from 6pm until 9pm.

Catwalk ready with braids

Sleek, messy, tribal fishtail or crimped – walk out in style with the hottest braided hairstyles straight from the runway. A craft hairstylist will create contemporary, urban and street styles for visitors daily, from 5pm until 9pm.

Jazz it up with DIY accessories

Stand out from the crowd with a customised piece to complement your Spring/Summer look. A marbling station has been set up for visitors to select their favourite colour scheme for a marbled fabric bead necklace. This will take place from 4pm – 10pm every day from March 29 until April 11.

Core workouts at your desk

Strengthening your core helps improve balance and stability, reduces backpain, prevents injuries and protects your inner organs. City Centre Deira will be organising group sessions to highlight the importance of a strong core. Participants will be led into practical exercises that can be done at their desks at work in 40-minute sessions daily from 4pm until April 4.

Impress family and friends online with a glamourous shot against the glimmering ‘Wall of Glam’. Customers can also write messages and draw pictures on the wall, adding a personal touch to the space. Celebrate the classic red lip look by putting on a flaming retro matte lipstick and posing with the contemporary stylised 3D lips installation in the pop up for a great hashtag moment to share on social media.

Find your balance

Shoppers can sign up for free interactive workshops on natural skin and haircare remedies, tackling genetic skin conditions, and skincare routines and tips for healthy hair growth. An ayurvedic doctor will be on site to offer quick check-ups using a hair and skin analysing machine. Sessions will take place from April 5 – 11, 2pm to 6pm.

Hear from industry experts

The Face Shop will be offering complimentary make-up tutorials, skin consultations and skincare tips to customers. Based on skin type, they will also be providing free Natural Adhesive Masks so that you can achieve the perfect skin! Flormar will be leading make-up tutorials on April 5-7 and April 9-11.
