Homestead Restaurant And Bakery To Serve Up A Diverse Set Menu For Iftar
During the Holy Month of Ramadan, the contemporary homegrown eatery Homestead Restaurant and Bakery will offer an extraordinary iftar experience with a diverse set menu prepared using local, organic and sustainably sourced ingredients.
Combining the best of Emirati, Middle Eastern, Indian and Persian cuisines, the menu puts a unique local spin on the eclectic selection of warm and cold mezze that includes hummus, moutabel, tabbouleh, muhammara and Arabic lentil soup. For the mains, guests can choose from six signature dishes including butter chicken, grilled chicken with freekeh, harees and kanaad machbous – the famous fried kingfish served with traditional Emirati spiced rice.
Homestead will also serve up a delectable range of traditional desserts, such as kunafa nabulsiya and sweet qatayef, in addition to Ramadan-themed beverages. The budget-friendly iftar option presents an ideal opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends in the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant’s cosy interiors reminiscent of an upcycled barn.
