Immersive Tour At Colombia Pavilion Attracts More Than 150,000 Visitors In First Month Of Expo 2020 Dubai
The Colombia Pavilion at the Expo 2020 announced that it has recorded more than 150,000 visitors during the first month, becoming a site of growing popularity, since the global event began in October 2021.
The massive footfall of visitors in the pavilion, which is located right at the entrance of the ‘Opportunity District’, affirms the growing global interest in this vibrant and culturally rich Latin American country.
Flavia Santoro, President of Procolombia said: “Through our meticulously designed immersive and interactive tours, we aim to deliver a fantastic experience to our visitors. We want them to leave the pavilion with a better understanding of our amazingly beautiful, culturally diverse nation and ambition to visit Colombia.”
Furthermore, she remarked: “Most of the people who visited us had a delightful experience in the pavilion that truly represents the essence of the country and our future hopes. The visitors at the pavilion can enjoy a virtual tour through the country’s six tourist regions that highlights nature, culture, and business opportunities in Colombia.”
The first month of its opening, received hundreds of visitors eager to enter the Colombian pavilion, to experience the incredible presentation of Colombia’s rich and diverse culture, iconic landscapes, groove to the beats of Latin American music, and relish the flavorful Colombian coffee.
Among the many thousands who enjoyed the astounding interactive virtual tour in the pavilion, there were also a few popular figures including, Her Excellency Reem Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates and Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai.
The Colombia pavilion is now gearing up to welcome visitors to celebrate Colombia’s National Day at Expo 2020 on Friday, November 5th, 2021.The large numbers of visitors in the world fair also elucidate that the six-month-long Expo 2020 is the perfect platform for the 192 participating nations to showcase their prospects and attain growth.
