BOLLYWOOD PARKS™ Dubai, the first Bollywood-inspired theme park in the world part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest integrated theme park destination in the region, is hosting an exhilarating multilingual music festival ‘Club FM 99.6 Mojo Rising’ with leading Indian bands in attendance. The festival is held in association with the Mathrubhumi Group’s youth music channel KAPPA TV and Club FM.

Popular Indian bands Avial, Agam, Lagori and Local Train will dazzle audiences with their multilingual performances and well-known singer Karthik, who has sung a number of songs for many popular music directors, including A. R. Rahman, Ilaiyaraaja, Hamsalekha, Vidyasagar, will belt out his latest songs.

Each of the four bands has developed a reputation in India and are especially known for their fiery performances in various genres. Kerala-based Avial is well-known for its electronic, folk and alternative rock infused with earthy Malayalam poetry on social and political issues, which earned them recognition at the Rolling Stone Rock Awards in 2009. Bangalore-based Agam has the distinction of having performed at MTV’s Coke Studio and is known for its Carnatic Progressive Rock.

When it comes to rock and acoustic, no band does it better than Delhi-based Local Train which was named the No. 1 rock band by Sennheiser India in 2015. Bangalore-based Lagori makes music that reflects the face of the modern Indian youth and combines Indian classical melodies and inflections with rock, resulting a combination of catchy and soulful music.
