Having taken a firm stance against plastic pollution by removing all plastic straws and cutlery across its entire operation of physical restaurants and home delivery services, The Noodle House, Dubai’s homegrown legacy brand, is upping the ante by launching ‘Plastic Amnesty’ day.

On Sunday March 18th, which marks ‘International Companies That Care Day’ – a celebration of organisations that aim to make a difference to both people and the planet – The Noodle House are furthering their mission to change single-use wastage by offering Dubai diners who bring unwanted takeaway plastic cutlery to any of The Noodle House branches (excluding Dubai International Airport) 50% off their food bill. The discount applies to an unlimited number of people, while donated cutlery can be from any café or restaurant.

All cutlery collected will then be recycled by The Noodle House, so grab your friends and stand with The Noodlers in their fight against single-use plastics.

“In today’s world, plastic is an environmental time bomb,” says Emma Banks, General Manager of Jumeirah Restaurant Group. “As an extremely passionate ‘Company That Cares’, we are holding the plastic amnesty in a bid to encourage residents to say no to single-use plastics, while raising awareness of the impact they have on our planet and delicate marine life.”
