City Walk is set to delight football fans with live streaming and great deals during the upcoming football season that kicks off on 14 June and culminates on 15 July.

Fuelling the football fever at the destination, three huge cardboard scoreboards will be placed around City Walk, displaying jerseys of the countries playing on a given match day. While participating in City Walk’s immersive football experience, visitors will have the opportunity to affix their score predictions to these scoreboards ahead of the match to win valuable prizes.

Throughout the world’s most watched sporting event, visitors to the design-inspired open-air destination by Meraas can also enjoy special menus and win prizes at their favourite restaurants. Its eclectic selection of F&B, retail and entertainment outlets makes City Walk the perfect venue to catch all the football action.

Pomme de Pain will roll out two special menus priced at AED89 each. In line with the Russian theme, the first menu will include authentic Russian dishes, such as the classic dessert ptichye moloko (bird’s milk). The second menu will feature some of the eatery’s signature dishes, such as grilled tiger prawns and PDP Angus burger. In addition, the French bakery-café will reward guests who make a reservation with a discount on the total bill – 15% for couples, 20% for groups of three to eight people, and 25% for groups of nine and more people. A special competition awaits guests during game nights.

With its vibrant interior decked out with the flags of the countries playing, La Postreria, the Spanish-themed restaurant serving a distinctive range of Mediterranean cuisines, will offer a tapas menu for two with two select beverages at a discounted rate. To step up the excitement, at the beginning of each game, each viewer will receive a score card to predict the outcome of the match, and the table with the most correct predictions wins complimentary meals all around.

Toro + KO, the Barcelona inspired restaurant located at The Square, will serve delectable tapas with deals on select beverages during the matches.

Taste of Persia, a soulful eatery that specialises in authentic food inspired by Persian philosophy, will offer its customers vouchers valued at AED50 for a minimum spend of AED250, AED100 on a total bill of AED500, and AED200 when they spend AED1,000.

Other outlets airing the games will include Enab Beirut – a culinary slice of Lebanon that blends traditional cuisine with modern flavours, The Victorian – a stylish café that treats diners to the finest delicacies of the Victorian era. Along with the interactive culinary hub Table Talk located at Le BHV Marais and Mitts & Trays, the elegant café serving gourmet dishes.

Nar, the go-to eatery for Mediterranean cuisine with a twist, and Il Caffè di Roma, the Italian coffee-house chain by Lavazza, will also open their doors to football fans this season.

For those who prefer watching the game in style with a full boutique-like cinematic experience, Roxy Cinemas will be an ideal place to catch the most scintillating moments.
