Majid Al Futtaim’s shopping malls in UAE – Mall of the Emirates, City Centres, My City Centres and Matajer malls in Sharjah – today raised the UAE flag with visitors, demonstrating unified patriotism and national pride on UAE Flag Day.

The day, established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai in 2013 to celebrate the country’s past, present and future, coincides with the accession anniversary of the UAE President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the presidency of the country.

The mall management and visitors came together to raise a large flag with the rest of the country at 11am, celebrating the spirit of unity and successes of the country. Mall visitors received flags and scarves in the colours of the flag to celebrate the joyous occasion.

The flags will remain up until December 2, the 47^th UAE National Day.
