Mall of the Emirates, the regions first shopping resort and flagship luxury destination, is enhancing visitors experience by now offering additional 1, 300 parking spaces on level 4, as part of its strategic redevelopment, Evolution 2015. Now featuring a total of 7,200 parking spaces, Mall of the Emirates visitors can drive up to the new parking deck with roof-top shade protection and direct shopping access to the mall.

As part of the Majid Al Futtaim’s vision to create great moments for everyone everyday, we continually strive to enhance our portfolio of lifestyle shopping destinations.  Mall of the Emirates is currently undergoing an exciting AED 1 billion multi-stage multi-year redevelopment, Evolution 2015, which is expanding and enhancing the overall customer and lifestyle offer of the mall. An important part of the project includes the enhancement of the parking facilities, to ensure a better experience for our visitors, said Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, Senior Director – Property Management, Shopping Malls for Majid Al Futtaim Properties.

Utilising extensive research and shoppers feedback, Majid Al Futtaim focused on two key actions at Mall of the Emirates:  providing additional spaces and refreshing the existing car-parking areas. The investment followed a careful analysis of visitors feedback; therefore, a major initiative of Evolution 2015 is focused on the redevelopment, expansion and enhancement of the parking facilities.

In addition, the overall ambiance, directional signage, pedestrian access and lighting will be significantly upgraded. These works, combined with several other exciting redevelopment projects being rolled out at the Mall will contribute to positioning Mall of the Emirates as a preferred lifestyle and retail destination in Dubai.

Additionally, works on the ground floor parking area are now complete with upper levels fully available to along with the a new taxi rank allowing forty additional taxis  located at Welcome Court 4, representing a total of eighty taxis places.
