Or why not thread generous chunks of Plant Kitchen Extra Firm Tofu onto skewers and then brush with your favourite glaze to create tasty vegan kebabs.
If you are looking to spice things up, then reach for the Peri Peri selection including fiery Peri Peri Butterflied Chicken Breasts, Halloumi Fries, Spicy Rice, and everyone’s favourite: Peri-Salted Chips.
Top everything off and bring the heat, sweetness, or pickled flavour to your veggie dishes with these tasty topping ideas:
Pickled cucumbers: slice cucumber into thin discs and place in a sterilised jar. Add a generous sprinkling of salt, cover in vinegar and flavour with peppercorns, mustard seeds or chilli flakes. Keep in the fridge until you are ready to use.
Caramelised onions: peel and finely slice onions. Heat olive oil and a knob of butter in a large frying pan over a medium heat and add the onions. Once translucent, add salt and brown sugar. Cook over a low heat, stirring regularly, until caramelised.
Chilli jam: add chopped chillies and red peppers to a food processer and pulse until finely chopped (you can also do this by hand). Add sugar and vinegar to a pan along with the chilli and pepper mix and crushed garlic. Heat for about an hour, or until sticky and jam like. Cool, place in a sterilised jar and store in the fridge.
To cool things off after a trip down the spicy lane, head to our chilled food additions with new additions in this range, that include Jersey Royal Potato, Pea & Broad Bean Salad and Creamy Greek Yogurt Tzatziki to name a few.
Those with a sweet tooth looking for classic M&S indulgence are spoilt for choice with the Plant Kitchen Churros – decadent fried vegan pastries with cinnamon sugar and rich chocolate sauce for dipping – as well as the refreshing and summery Plant Kitchen Raspberry Jelly Terrine, ideal for families looking to share dessert.
