Coca-Cola Arena has been hailed ‘amazing’ by Maroon 5 after their sell-out show at the venue on Friday night.

Maroon 5 performed to an ecstatic 17,000 fans who lapped up their every hit, and the band were equally impressed with their experience.

‘It was a privilege to be the first band to perform at the new Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai – amazing crowd, atmosphere and venue. Artists are going to love it!” said the band.

A history-making moment for Coca-Cola Arena as Maroon 5 take the title of first musical act to perform at the new venue, as part of their worldwide Red Pill Blues Tour.

Owned by Meraas, Coca-Cola Arena is positioned perfectly for a global touring circuit owning status as the biggest indoor multipurpose arena of its kind, from Singapore to Istanbul, attracting some of the world’s elite entertainers.

The new heartbeat of the Meraas built urban destination City Walk, Coca-Cola Arena is surrounded by chic eateries and boutiques where there was an electric atmosphere before and after the show.

For many attending the concert, it was their first look at the arena, and it didn’t fail to impress.

The sell-out Maroon 5 show wrapped up an impressive opening week for Coca-Cola Arena which began with Russell Peters performing the first ever event inside Dubai’s home of live entertainment.

The summer of gigs continues with double Brit Award winners and one of the world’s hottest live acts, The 1975 confirmed to play at Coca-Cola Arena on August 14th before Westlife (August 29th) and Tony Robbins (September 3rd) take to Coca-Cola Arena’s stage.
