I had this 40 minutes life-altering conversation with Dr. Navana Kundu on Zoom. Dr. Navana has had an eventful life thus far. Her role as an award-winning life coach is based on her life’s learnings.

She started her corporate career in the fashion industry in Milan. She is a globe trotter and has lived and worked in Spain, Italy, Hong Kong, and been in and out of Dubai over the last 8 years.

Dr. Navana’s life has had its share of trials and tribulations. She had to suffer the battles of a dysfunctional family, a crumbling family business, abuse, and depression. Searching for healing and happiness, she trained as a master practitioner of over 20 different therapeutic and coaching modalities.

A couple of years back she headed out to the Himalayas where she found her true calling. While she was trying to explore the meaning and purpose of life, she found it in the teachings of her Saint who guided her to pursue her path that helped her find her holistic happiness.

Here are Dr. Navana’s nuggets of wisdom as she shared with me, “Unlocking the power of emotions, we can get past anything in life in an instant and live life on our terms. By changing our emotions, we can change our thoughts, our habits, and our destiny.”

As Charles R. Swindoll aptly said, “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” Dr. Navana is a firm believer that those people who have emotional intelligence are better equipped to handle anything that life throws at them. She uses her emotional mastery techniques to help people build empowering relationships at work or in families. In her words, “The quality of your life depends on the quality of your emotions.”

Dr. Navana has done her Ph.D. in ‘Effects of Meditation on Human Mind and Happiness’ and has been awarded Excellence in Meditation by the World Health Awards. She is currently based in Dubai and consults at the Miracles Wellness Centre.

Dr. Navana has written her first book entitled, “EMOTIONAL MASTERY – Toolkit for SUCCESS” which is being launched on 22 May.
