On 16 December, 2016, MOTIONGATE™ Dubai opened its gates for the first time. New thrills

Opening soon in the Lionsgate zone are two world-first roller coasters, Now You See Me: High Roller and John Wick: Open Contract, which will put MOTIONGATE™ Dubai in the record books for the maximum number of roller coasters in a single theme park across the Middle East. The park already has six of the UAE’s most thrilling roller coasters, and is a magnet for adventure seekers.

New shows

As part of its year-long birthday celebrations, MOTIONGATE™ Dubai has a spectacular lineup of original live entertainment: from stage shows with stunts and dancing, to singing and acrobatics, all included in the entrance ticket. Cutting edge technology and star performers from all over the globe come together to create these incredible spectacles, with thrilling action sequences and jaw-dropping stagecraft.

New experiences

Along with this world-class entertainment, MOTIONGATE™ Dubai’s 2022 social calendar packs in regularly scheduled seasonal events. Guests can look forward to new experiences on every visit. From Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Holi to Eid and Diwali, special occasions will see the park hosting activities, themed shows,traditional food kiosks lights and decorations.All through the year, Studio Central, the park’s entrance boulevard, will be alive with parades and meet-and-greet opportunities with their favourite movie characters.

For Halloween, guests can look forward to the spookiest Fright Nights yet!MOTIONGATE™ Dubai’s 12 month-long birthday celebrations end on a high note in December 2022 with the razzle dazzle of National Day and the month-long festive celebrations that will transform the park into a magical winter wonderland.

Delicious new food to try

What’s a party without food? Every month, over the next year, the park offers culinary highlights to surprise and delight. These range from new menus and interactive experiences to cooking classes and seasonal favourites, such as cookie baking sessions for the festive season or horror-themed food for Halloween. Eight family restaurants and a wide range of quick dining kiosks located throughout the park serve up options to satisfy the pickiest eaters.

MOTIONGATE™ Dubai has just launched its 2022 catalogue of new merchandise and it’s now in store!Guests can also take back souvenirs from 15 themed retail shops stocking all-new official film licensed merchandise: from t-shirts and backpacks to mugs, hoodies and badges.
