Noor Bank, one of the UAE’s leading Shari’ah-compliant banks,is featuring the works of Dubai-based Zambian artist of determination Victor Sitali at the Noor Art Gallery, located at the bank’s branch on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.

Running until 30 September, the exhibition comprises a selection of the artist’s signature portfolio – he is a figurative painter whose work focuses on portraits of African faces, birds, eyes and landscapes. He primarily works with oil paints and acrylic on canvas, as well as watercolors, pastels, and charcoal on paper.

Sitali has been hearing impaired since the age of three, and found a way to express his voice through painting. He attended Mawaheb from Beautiful People from 2011 to 2014 and, in 2017, he graduated from the SAE Institute in Dubai with a degree in Graphic Design. In addition to being an artist, Sitali is a fashion photographer and conducts workshops on art and sign language in schools and art spaces across the UAE.
