Bringing exceptional value to tourists and residents in Dubai, At the Top, Burj Khalifa — the global icon by Emaar — will officially offer tickets to the Etihad Museum, a dynamic 21st century landmark that is located at the very place the UAE was founded in 1971.

Following a partnership with Dubai Museums Company, an entity of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), At the Top, Burj Khalifa will now sell tickets to the Etihad Museum for AED 25 per person or as a package with the At the Top, Burj Khalifa experience for only AED 155 per adult and AED 120 per child.

At the Top, Burj Khalifa has managed the retail and souvenir operations at the Etihad Museum over the past year, and will now also act as the museum’s exclusive arm for all international travel trade relations.

Ahmad Al Falasi, Executive Director – Group Operations at Emaar Properties, said: “We are honoured to partner with the Dubai Museums Company to further highlight the Etihad Museum to visitors through At the Top, Burj Khalifa. Etihad Museum offers a unique journey that familiarises visitors with the history of the UAE’s formation. Along with At the Top, Burj Khalifa, they can now understand more about our nation at the Etihad Museum, as well as experience spectacular views from Burj Khalifa, a modern monument and global icon that translates the vision of our leadership.”

Muna Faisal Al Gurg, Managing Director of the Dubai Museums Company, said: “In line with Dubai Culture’s mandate to preserve and celebrate UAE history, the Etihad Museum inspires visitors with the story of the most important moment in our nation’s history — the founding of the UAE in 1971 — through experience-driven exhibitions, interactive programmes and educational initiatives. Through our partnership with At the Top, Burj Khalifa, visitors and residents can gain new insights into our nation and the vision of our Founding Fathers to build a modern and world-class metropolis that is embodied by Burj Khalifa. This is part of our wider efforts to establish Dubai as a global and sustainable city for culture and heritage, and to bring happiness to visitors and residents by strengthening Dubai’s offering in these sectors.”

With Dubai Culture set to launch new museum experiences in the city, the partnership between The Dubai Museums Company and At the Top, Burj Khalifa is expected to further expand the scope of joint activities between the three parties.

A 25,000-square metre landmark, the Etihad Museum focuses on the history of the nation with emphasis on the period between 1968 and 1974. The visitor experience also aims to educate about the Nation’s constitution, in particular – the rights, privileges and responsibilities that it bestows upon the people of the UAE. The museum tells the story of the Union from the standpoint of the country’s leaders at the time it was founded. It includes museum exhibits materials and documents related to the events of the founding of the UAE.

Located near the Union House site — the historic site of the signing of the Union Agreement in 1971 — and near the flagpole on the Jumeirah Beach Road, the museum building is in the shape of a manuscript, inspired by the Unification Agreement, with the seven leaning columns representing the pens that signed the declaration of the constitution in 1971. The identity of the museum was also inspired by the colours of the national flag and the identity of the seven Emirates. It is open from 10am to 8pm daily.
