Qatar World Cup 2022
Qatar World Cup is scheduled to be conducted in Qatar, in the year 2022, from 21 November to 18 December. FIFA World Cup is a quadrennial football championship contested by national teams of 32 countries. Fans and football lovers from around the world are thrilled and excited for the time when they will be able to witness tough matches between well renowned, national teams.
Qatar, known for its generosity, hospitality, and great love for football, is all set to host the 22nd edition of the world cup tournament and welcome the world onto eight of its futuristic stadiums located in Lusail, Al Khor, Doha, Al Rayyan, and Al Wakrah. The country will also be the first Arab country to host the tournament. The opening match is scheduled to kick off on 21st November in the Al Bayt Stadium, located in Al Khor. The qualifiers for the FIFA world tournament are still ongoing which started on June 6th of 2019.
The Emblem for the game had been out and bear resemblance to the shawl worn by people during the winter season. This is to symbolize the unifying force both the everyday fabric and football, which has been around for many years, have on people’s lives. The typeface is written in Arabic calligraphy and integrates elements of kasheeda – a lengthening cursive script that enhances the flow and grace of the writing.
The venues, some completed and some still under construction are all built to embody a different time in the future, but with no compromise to the traditional design and values that the community of Qatar holds close.
