The Queen Elizabeth 2’s Iftar al Malika (Iftar of the Queen) will feature a selection of experiences for the mind, body and the soul this Ramadan.

Passengers can enjoy a one-of-a-kind Iftar experience with live Hakawati storytelling performances delivered by leading artists from around the world.  Professional narrators will recite English and Arabic versions of ancient tales, folk stories and legendary fictions from the Middle East, the Mediterranean and beyond – recapturing the imagination of audiences, both young and old.

Passengers will also have the opportunity to discover the art of authentic Emirati gastronomy with local Chef Abdulla Juma’s special selection of culinary delights. Renowned for his delicious home-style cooking, Chef Abdula combines refined culinary techniques with age-old spices and herbs to create a distinctive range of hearty signature dishes that exemplify the rich culinary heritage of the region. Throughout the month of Ramadan, chef will prepare an exclusive selection of dishes including a traditional Threed meat and Harees meat dish.

The Iftar al Malika will offer three unique venues from which to break the fast or to enjoy Suhoor and hubbly bubbly late into the evening.

Majlis Al Malika

The historical Queens Room will be transformed into a dazzling Majlis Al Malika, fusing together vintage style with modern Arabic décor and a hearty Arabic inspired buffet to provide a unique venue for group gatherings.

Passengers can rediscover the enchanting traditions of Ramadan with a distinctive selection of hubbly bubbly flavors and a la carte Suhoor dishes on the Yacht Club Deck with stunning views of Dubai’s glistening skyline against the city’s stars. Iftar is AED 195 per person and is available from sunset daily throughout Ramadan. Suhoor and hubbly bubbly prices vary.
