The newly-crowned and reigning Miss Earth 2019, Nellys Pimentel from Puerto Rico, was spotted in Dubai Design District on November 6 for an exclusive photoshoot with a Dubai-based luxury travel and fashion magazine, XPEDITION Middle East, a few weeks after winning the crown in Manila, Philippines.

Miss Earth is an annual international environmental-themed beauty pageant competition promoting environmental awareness and responsibility. It is one of the Big Four International Beauty Pageants with the most coveted beauty titles among all international pageant competitions along with Miss International, Miss World and Miss Universe. Nellys Pimentel actually made history by becoming the first Puerto Rican to win the Miss Earth crown.

The Puerto Rican model and beauty queen stuns in Dubai-based designers Amato Couture with gowns fresh off the Fashion Forward runway and Alina Anwar Couture. If that wasn’t enough to steal the spotlight, sparkles from High Street Jewelry completed the looks with gold and diamond accessories fit for a true queen. This has proved yet again that Dubai’s fashion scene is one that’s to look out for.

It is not the first time an international beauty queen graced the pages of Xpedition Middle East Magazine.
