Put your dancing shoes on and get ready to groove at RELM FEST, Nakheel’s one-of-a-kind music festival held at The Pointe, which will bring renowned regional artists to perform all weekend from 21 to 23 October, from 6 pm till 11pm followed by after-parties at selected venues till late.

The Pointe, the premium waterfront destination by Nakheel, will host three nights of non-stop music, live performances by featured artists and headliners and five new fountain shows to mark the second anniversary of The Palm Fountain.

Festival Headliners and Performances

An extension of The Pointe’s Recognizing Emerging Local Musicians (RELM) initiative to support and grow the careers of emerging talents in the region, the festival will provide artists a platform and build a strong following.

Nakheel is proud to host, in their first ever appearance in the region, the winners of this year’s America’s Got Talent, ‘The Mayyas’.The all female, alternative precision dance group from Lebanon, will be performing for the very first time in the region since winning the 17th season of the show.The troupe will be performing two five-minute routines on the East and West promenades, which will also be projected across screens.

As part of Nakheel’s commitment to celebrating Arabic youth and culture, ‘The Mayyas’ will also be performing at a later date on the Palm Jumeirah, details of which will be released soon.

Centerstage will be the RELM program’s five handpicked artists – Noel Kharman, Lea Makhoul, Abri, Sandra Sahi and Nagham Debal – supported by DJs such as DJ Rodge, Deian, Sam Farsio, Walashi, Somalie, as well as Indie bands and renowned regional musicians including As Per Casper, The Boxtones, and more.

Bringing people together through the common language of music, the event will debut five new fountain shows choreographed to the tunes of each featured musician. The RELM FEST’s headline artists will also take the stage to perform a medley of their newly released hits, to a backdrop of their own unique fountain shows.

Dance the Night Away

Upon arrival at The Pointe, visitors can enjoy a sunset dining experience at the waterfront destination’s diverse restaurants with eclectic mixes by DJs to set the mood.  They can then make their way to one of three stages located across The Pointe, including the Event Plaza stage, the East side stage or the West side stage. Festivalgoers can dance the night away as renowned and emerging regional artists and bands, such as Adonis, Jadal, MassarEgbari and a full line-up of local bands, singers and DJs, serenade the crowds with their popular numbers, and festival headliners debut new musical hits and play some of their hottest tracks.

The night sky will light up with a live performance by all five RELM artists to their latest hit mashup on 22 October and kick off a night of endless celebrations with musical sets from the city’s best DJs from 12 am to 4 am at Social Distrikt, Chicago Meat Packers, Aka, Phantom House and Meshico.

Transportation and Parking

Parking will not be available at The Pointe from 21 to 23 October and festivalgoers are advised to park their cars at the Palm Monorail Gateway station for free, where they can take a free shuttle bus to The Pointe every 15 minutes from 4 pm to 2 am. Alternatively, visitors can travel to The Pointe using a taxi.

RSVP and Restaurant bookings

While entrance to RELM FEST is free of charge, all visitors must RSVP at The Pointe’s website relm.thepointe.ae AND reserve a table at their preferred restaurant of choice over the phone to be allowed access into the festival. Whether you prefer Mediterranean, Asian, Turkish or international cuisines, The Pointe’s diverse restaurant portfolio is guaranteed to appeal to all tastes.

RELM, in partnership with TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video and Anghami, the leading music and entertainment streaming platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), marks a bold new move in the music landscape and seeks to recognize, celebrate and champion the rising musical talent in the Arab world. In line with RELM’s support program, the fountain shows orchestrated to the featured musicians’ latest hits will be added to The Palm Fountain’s annual line-up of world-class performances. The program also features bespoke video content, increased visibility across playlists with TikTok and Anghami, and organized workshops to help artists’ leverage key platforms to grow their careers and online presence.
