Sarabeth’s UAE Opens At Mall Of The Emirates
Having opened its first venue in the UAE at Citywalk in March 2017, the award winning Sarabeth’s Kitchen & Bakery celebrates its two-year anniversary with the launch of its second branch at the city’s iconic Mall of The Emirates. Open to public from 18 April 2019, the new bakery and dining destination is situated on the first level of the mall and welcomes guests to embark on an unrivalled dining experience that brings together the warm and hospitable nature of New York City, paired with an extensive menu of signature dishes and desserts.
Sarabeth’s MOE reimagines the brands’ heritage, paying homage to the original Sarabeth’s, while implementing new features that stand out to a contemporary audience. Designed by ‘bySOZO’ Interiors, the new venue’s décor combines the history of the brand through wood and marble accents, with a touch of modern aesthetic with large brass features for a strong and memorable impression. Patterned tiles relate back to the New York-bistro-style heritage of the brand, creating a warm and comforting atmosphere for guests to dine in.
Offering an impressive selection of classic American recipes with a playful twist, the menu boasts a variety of unique dishes ranging from wholesome breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as its signature afternoon tea offering, an assortment of indulgent desserts and not forgetting Sarabeth’s legendary spreadable fruit.
The perfect start to your day, treat yourself to a hearty breakfast – a refreshing Organic Chia Pudding Parfait or Morning Fruit Bowl is sure to fuel you up for the day ahead, or opt for one of the indulgent French toast, waffle or fluffy pancake varieties. Poached, scrambled or tossed into an omelette – have your eggs your way as Sarabeth’s serves up an array of ‘extraordinary’ egg preparations – choose from a signature Goldie Lox (smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, cream cheese and scallion served on a multigrain bagel), a classic Farmer’s Omelette (leeks, turkey strip, potato, shitake mushrooms and Gruyère cheese), a rich Three Cheese Fritata and much more.
Served from 12pm onward, the lunch and dinner menu includes a selection of tantalizing appetizers, fresh salads and creamy pastas as well as a range of mighty sandwiches and burgers. Think crispy Tempura Fried Calamari, Sarabeth’s award-winning Velvety Cream Of Tomato Soup, or a Kale And Quinoa Tabbouleh to start your meal, followed by one of the signature mains that include an all-American Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich, a refreshing Halloumi & Avocado Sandwich or a decadent Truffle Scented Mushroom Risotto that is sure to satisfy your appetite.
Complete your meal on a sweet note with an incredible choice of desserts, including a Varlhona Chocolate Fondant, an Agave And Fresh Berry Panna Cottta, the favourite New York Cheesecake and more. Founded by Sarabeth Levine and her husband, Bill Levine, the NYC favourite bakery and kitchen was born in 1981 in Sarabeth’s apartment in New York City, with her making her family’s unique 200 year old heirloom recipe for Orange Apricot Marmalade. Today Sarabeth and her husband operate a 15,000 sq. foot jam manufacturing facility, a 4,400 sq. foot wholesale bakery, café and retail shop in Manhattan with 20 successful Sarabeth’s around the world. Having secured numerous awards over the years, including the prestigious James Beard Foundation’s “Outstanding Pastry Chef of the Year”, Sarabeth is a legendary restauranteur, artisanal baker, jam maker and author of two highly acclaimed cookbooks, “Sarabeth’s Bakery – From My Hands to Yours” and “Good Morning Cookbook.”
