A brand-new series of Saturday afternoon parties is launching aboard Dubai’s iconic QE2, bringing live music, dancing, party food and free-flowing drinks to the ship from Saturday 12th September 2026.

The QE2 Saturday Party Series transforms Saturday afternoons into three hours of music and entertainment, with a changing programme of themed parties running from 2pm until 5pm.

Launching with ABBA-Esque on Saturday 12th September, the series will travel through everything from school-day nostalgia and Nashville country to the biggest hits of the 90s and Noughties, a Halloween Spooktacular and a season of Fabulously Festive Christmas parties.

Each event features live performers, a packed dance floor and a different musical theme, with party food and unlimited house drinks included from AED399 per person. A Premium Package, including premium fizz options, is available for AED499.

The idea is simple: forget waiting until Saturday night. Get your friends together, step aboard one of Dubai’s most famous landmarks and start the weekend early.

ABBA-ESQUE

Calling all Dancing Queens!

The series launches on Saturday 12th September with an afternoon dedicated to the unforgettable music of ABBA, brought to life by fabulous live performers.

From Mamma Mia and Waterloo to Voulez-Vous, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and a catalogue packed with instantly recognisable favourites, ABBA-Esque promises three hours of glittering pop classics, huge harmonies and irresistible singalong moments.

Flares and sparkle are positively encouraged as guests sing, dance and celebrate one of the greatest pop catalogues of all time – complete with party food, unlimited drinks and plenty of opportunities to say Thank You for the Music.

And for anyone who misses the September party – or simply wants to do it all over again – ABBA-Esque returns to the QE2 on Saturday 7th November.

 

SCHOOL DAYZ

School’s out – and the party is most definitely on.

School Dayz turns back the clock to school discos, teenage anthems, guilty pleasures and the songs that provided the soundtrack to growing up.

Whether you were top of the class, permanently in detention or the person who started the conga at every school disco, this is an excuse to dig out the old school uniform, gather your classmates and misbehave all over again.

Expect three hours of familiar anthems, dance-floor classics, big choruses, cheeky photo opportunities and plenty of memories.

Attendance is compulsory. Behaving yourself isn’t.

NASHVILLE

Saturday 10th October & Saturday 21st November 2026 | 2pm–5pm

Dubai goes country as the QE2 gets a taste of Music City.

Pull on the cowboy boots, grab a hat and prepare for a foot-stomping afternoon of country favourites, singalong anthems and dance-floor hits led by live performers.

From classic country legends to today’s biggest Nashville stars, the afternoon mixes great music with line dancing, party food, unlimited drinks and plenty of Southern spirit.

Cowboy hats, denim, boots and a little bit of sparkle are strongly encouraged.

Nashville takes place on Saturday 10th October and returns on Saturday 21st November.

 

THROWBACK 90s & NOUGHTIES

Saturday 24th October 2026 | 2pm–5pm

It’s time to party like it’s 1999… and 2009.

Throwback 90s & Noughties rewinds to two decades of boybands, girl power, pop classics, dance anthems and some gloriously guilty pleasures.

It’s an afternoon celebrating the songs that filled the charts, school discos, car stereos, CD players and dance floors – with live performers keeping the energy high from beginning to end.

Guests are encouraged to round up their crew and even dress as their favourite pop icon for three hours of huge choruses, iconic throwbacks and plenty of “I’d forgotten how much I loved this!” moments.

HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR

Something wicked is coming to the QE2.

Halloween afternoon sees the ship taken over for a frighteningly fun party filled with monster hits, devilish dancing, costumes and spooky surprises.

Live performers provide a soundtrack designed to raise the spirits – in every sense – and keep the dance floor frighteningly busy throughout the afternoon.

Guests can come dressed to impress… or terrify.

Witches, vampires, ghosts, ghouls and considerably more inventive creations are all welcome for three hours of Halloween favourites, party food, unlimited drinks and spooky Saturday mayhem aboard one of Dubai’s most iconic venues.

 

FABULOUSLY FESTIVE PARTIES

Then it’s time to put some serious sparkle into Christmas.

The Fabulously Festive Parties bring the Saturday Party Series to a suitably glittering conclusion with Christmas classics, party anthems, live entertainment and a dance floor made for celebrating.

Designed for groups of friends, colleagues, office parties and anyone looking for an excuse to start Christmas early, the afternoons combine seasonal favourites with feel-good floor-fillers, party food and unlimited drinks.

Christmas jumpers – or T-shirts, this is Dubai after all – festive accessories and dancing shoes are highly recommended.

Every event takes place from 2pm–5pm, combining a themed live entertainment experience with party food and unlimited drinks.
