As the school gates close, the long, hot summer can only mean one thing – it’s summer camp time! Why not scrap your usual summer vacation plans and take the whole family to camp? IKEA is stepping things up a notch with its exciting Summer Academy

IKEA understands the importance of family time and bonding with little ones. Therefore, this year we are inviting parents to come along with their children and enjoy all the exciting activities IKEA has to offer. The annual Summer Academy is a great opportunity for kids to explore the wonders of science with hands on edutaining workshops, get their game on with a variety of sport games, shake a leg and learn some new dance moves and get creative with arts and crafts.

In addition to its fun-packed activities, the Academy will also shed light on the importance of sustainability through different workshops, demonstrating IKEA’s efforts towards having a positive impact on people and the planet.

IKEA, Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, UAE

The Summer Academy in the Abu Dhabi store will include edutainment activities every Friday with various sessions between 3pm to 6pm and kitchen chef workshops, every Sunday and Tuesday between 1pm and 3:30pm, open to parents and children.
