Prepare to dance your heart out as Bluewaters – Meraas’ sophisticated modern island destination– raises the curtain on the final phase of its three-month-long activation, the Bluewaters Dance Groove. Set to run over the next four weekends from 4 to 27 April, the dance extravaganza will come to life with a series of exciting workshops and entertainment acts suitable for the whole family.

Dance enthusiasts can bust some of their best moves to live 60 and 90-minute dance workshops for adults and children which are being held every Friday at 4pm and 7pm, and Saturday at 4pm. Professional instructors will teach the crowds the art of hip-hop, tap dance, Zumba, ballet and street dance guaranteed to leave everyone feeling pumped, energized and full of the rhythms of life.

Pop-up performers will kick it up a notch every Friday from 6pm to 9pm with a mix of dance acts ranging from drummers, ballerinas, tap dancers and. Also, don’t miss out on the unique performances of BMX bike artistry combined with ballet dancing – two distinct disciplines that have been brought together to create a spectacular dance show.

What’s more, a series of open mic nights for up-and-coming local talents. And, that’s not all that’s happening: there are also cosy cinema nights under the stars, with a line-up of popular dance movie classics set to feature in the month-long activation at Bluewaters.

Naturally, there’s something for the social media-inclined. You can kick your Insta game up a notch with the visually-arresting floor vinyl dotted around the destination. These quirky designs with step-by-step dance moves will have the crowds on their feet, arms extended with their best-selfie face on as they dance their way across the destination.

And if you’re feeling peckish after all that dancing, choose from many of the delectable restaurants available at the destination that are sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.
