Tuesday 15^th March 2022, the Israel Pavilion hosted His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, for the first time. Their Excellencies Mr. Amir Hayek, Israel Ambassador to the UAE and Mr. Elazar Cohen, Commissioner General of the Israel Pavilion greeted Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan at the pavilion and gave him what was a tour of historical significance. His Excellency toured the Israeli pavilion with his accompanying delegation.

His Excellency Amir Hayek, Israel Ambassador to the UAE said: “The visit of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan reflects the spirit of the Israeli Pavilion. The theme of our pavilion is towards tomorrow and it is with this spirit of collaboration, understanding, respect and tolerance we received His Excellency.”

His Excellency Elazar Cohen, Commissioner General of Israel Pavilion added: “The visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE further cements the good relations that exist between our two countries. I’m glad that during the six months of the EXPO we were able to develop the foundations of this historical relationship. We are honored by this visit.”
