Skydive Dubai Joins Dropzones Worldwide In Setting New Global Record For Inaugural World Skydiving Day
Skydive Dubai, the world’s most sought-after skydiving experience, participated in the inaugural World Skydiving Day celebration on 13 July 2024, hosted by the U.S. Parachute Association (USPA), Australian Parachute Federation, British Skydiving and Canadian Sport Parachuting Association. Exemplifying Skydive Dubai’s influence in elevating the sport’s global profile and popularity Skydive Dubai registered 367 jumps to mark this day at its Dubai Dropzone located in Dubai Harbour. This included tandem and fun jumps, as well a 20-way formation by Skydive Dubai staff.
Skydive Dubai’s team of international champion instructors, experienced pilots, and specialist operations crews are part of a dedicated skydiving network that embodies the highest levels of professionalism in aerial sports.
Recording a total of 30,351 jumps with participants from 51 countries, the historic event set a new world record for the most skydives conducted on this day globally. World Skydiving Day will occur each year on the second Saturday in July bringing together skydiving enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate the thrill of freefall and the spirit of adventure.
