Free! Free! Free!
For the first time in the tournament’s history, tickets for the Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic are free for spectators over all four days. The decision was made in recognition of the UAE’s recent Golden Jubilee, with tournament organisers eager to give something back to sports fans following the challenges faced because of Covid in 2020 and 2021. Simon Corkill, tournament director, said: “What better way to celebrate the UAE turning 50 than free access to a truly global sporting event on our doorstep.”

Tournament Town
Apart from golf and food, Tournament Town will host a range of activities to keep the whole family entertained. Some of the city’s most talented local performers will belt out classic tunes and singalongs, with bean bags and seating adding a relaxed vibe to proceedings. The family-first set-up has plenty of entertainment options, from kids’ face painting and bouncy castles to a live telecast of the championship – meaning adults can chill while kids soak up the fun.
Top Golf Deck
Looking for the best views in the house? Spectators can head down to the TopGolf, open air set-up overlooking the 3,190 yard, 15th hole. Considered to be a challenging hole that often transforms a birdie opportunity into a scramble for par, visitors will be able to watch all the action from a bird’s eye view.
Food trucks
Spectators are spoilt for choice in Tournament Town with access to a range of food trucks from Pinza, Stuffed Burger, Wok Boyz, Moshi, Costa and so much more. From pizzas and shawarmas to poke bowls, wings, desserts and so on, the food trucks will satisfy all culinary needs.
Pink Saturday
Paint the town pink for a good cause on day three of the tournament, Saturday January 29. All players and caddies will wear something pink, and spectators are encouraged to join in to raise awareness for breast cancer and support the Al Jalila Foundation. From a pink flower wall, best dressed competitions and spot prizes, there’s plenty of reasons to get involved!
Sustainability Sunday
This focus day will showcase the sustainable commitments that the Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic is making in four key areas: waste, transport, energy and legacy.
Large areas of the event will be powered by locally sourced BioFuel and solar power. Other initiatives include a switch to digital ticketing, replacement of on-course plastic bottles and specialist waste management efforts to reduce waste sent to landfills.
Spectators will also be encouraged to travel to and from the event by metro with Jebel Ali, Etisalat and Centrepoint stations providing a mass car parking area for travellers to park before they ride. Finally, in association with Goumbook, players will also participate in a symbolic Ghaf seed planting in Tournament Town.
Dallah Lounge
The Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic is bringing in a brand-new hospitality offering this year. The revamped Dallah Lounge terraces and Sky Deck sit in a prime location overlooking both the 9th and 18th greens, guaranteeing a bird’s eye view of the action as the world’s best come down the closing straight. Spectators will be able to soak up the action throughout the day and watch in real comfort thanks to the new set-up, a major development in corporate sporting offerings.
