Steigenberger Sharing Fridges Add A Splash Of Colour
As a part of their preparations for the Holy Month, Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay has set up Ramadan Sharing Fridges for the second consecutive year. With their mantra of ‘think globally, act locally’, the vision of the Sharing Fridges is to benefit the neighbouring community in the Business Bay area. This Ramadan, the fridges have been launched today with a splash of colour and the spirit of togetherness, as Steigenberger partners with the artists of Mawaheb to share their talent and loving energies at this noble initiative.
Mawaheb from Beautiful People is a Dubai based art studio for Determined Ones (adults with special needs from 16 years and above) and a close partner of Steigenberger Hotel; the stunning graffiti of their German artist Vincent Bauer is on display at Brothaus Bakery-Bistro. This Ramadan, Vincent Bauer and Nazeer Ali, along with their mentor Alan Mongrey from Mawaheb have created a live graffiti on the sharing fridges. The initiative aims at promoting inclusion, encouraging community service and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan.
The hotel is asking for the fridge to be stocked with drinking water, juices, laban, and milk along with fresh fruits and healthy snacks. Steigenberger’s Sharing Fridges are available for those in need to pick up a refreshing drink or snack when they break their fast.
Steigenberger’s heart-warming initiative has already received a generous response. Clint Wilfred & Sons (CWS) has pledged 120 cases of Franklin & Sons beverages, while Aghtia Group has joined in by donating Al Ain Water under their manifesto “Wholehearted Living”.
The message from the team is simple – come past and stock it up! “Small acts of kindness go a long way to create positive change. Like the ‘Butterfly Effect’, no matter how small our actions are, they all end up playing a role in determining the quality of life we live,” says Stephen Meredith, General Manager.
