East, Africa and Asia, will be part of the Earth Hour global initiative aiming to raise awareness on sustainability and energy consumption. On March 25th, all Majid Al Futtaim shopping destinations in the region will dim their lights and pay tribute to the movement. Majid Al Futtaim websites will turn to ‘power saving mode’, encouraging viewers to turn off their own appliances for one hour from 8.30PM until 9.30PM.

By visiting Majid Al Futtaim shopping malls digital platforms, viewers can take a pledge to save the planet by committing to the cause they stand by the most such as: conserving water, using less energy, planting a tree, reusing and recycling as well as reducing carbon footprint. When visiting the mall’s webpage, users can share and upload on Facebook and Twitter platforms. Additionally, the websites will also showcase a series of daily tips to support environmentally friendly behavior.
