Welcoming visitors from across the globe and taking them on a journey through the delicious, health-inducing tastes of authentic Thai cuisine, the colourful event will feature an exciting series of immersive performances, cooking shows, food stalls and giveaways.

Taking place from Thursday, November 4 to Monday, November 8, food connoisseurs are invited to savour the most enticing flavours of this wonderful country through a long weekend of feasting and celebrating, while children of all ages will find plenty of fun and exciting activities to entertain them. Having already welcomed an amazing 100k guests, this vibrant festival is set to make this already exceptionally popular Pavilion an even more memorable and enjoyable day out.

Supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Amazing Thailand – Amazing Thai Scents Café present at the pavilion will explore the medicinal and therapeutic quality of Thai flowers and herbs by presenting a range of healthy and delightful drinks and snacks. Furthering the Thailand Pavilion’s desire to nurture the many talents world’s younger generations through every aspect of the displays and performances, kids will adore learning how to make their own dishes through the Thai Cooking Game and the many other enriching and child-friendly activities.

Indeed, every member of the family will feel instantly happy and uplifted by the ‘Som Tam’ song. Composed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and inspired by the famous Thai papaya salad, this raucous kitchen percussion performance encourages everyone to get up on their feet and let loose with some upbeat singing and dancing. Starring the Pavilion Ambassadors and the representation’s resident group of skillful performers, the ‘Kitchen Performance’ will replace the pavilion’s usual daily show throughout Thai Authentic Food & Health Week.

Meanwhile, the Thailand Pavilion’s Head Chef, Chef Nun, will explain how to make the iconic Som Tam dish through her series of cooking demonstrations. As one of the standout previous contestants on MasterChef Thailand and an exceptionally talented culinary craftsman, she will explain why Thai food is based around balancing the four key tastes of sweet, salty, bitter and sour. Guests can then use her tips and methods to help them make seven iconic Thai recipes, shared via special QR codes throughout the Pavilion, back in their own kitchens back home.

Those with a sweet tooth can discover the decadent tastes of Thai treats through the Thai Desserts Giveaway, while those waiting to enter will be kept entertained by The Smile Band and the Bangkok Dusit Medical Service. Featuring jaunty tunes and a variety of stretches that are designed to help visitors relieve stress and tension, the Music Therapy experience will make any queuing time go by in a flash.
