Dubai’s Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities is urging the UAE public to put on their superhero capes and lace up their football boots to support its annual community events being held as part of the Al Noor – Samsung Hope for Children Family Fun Fair on Friday, 6th March

Organised by Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities to drive fundraising efforts and safeguard the education, care and professional training offered to 200 existing students with physical and cognitive challenges such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Autism, the Al Noor Superhero Fun Run will see thousands of participants dress up as their favourite superhero for a four-kilometre route through Al Barsha.

Starting at 7:30am, children aged below five-years-old can participate in the Al Noor Superhero Fun Run for free, while anyone above can enter for AED 50. Participants will be in for a chance to win sponsored giveaways, while the top three costumes across individual, family and determined categories will take home best-dressed prizes.

On the same day, the Al Noor – Samsung Hope for Children Family Fun Fair will open from 9:00am to 9:00pm with fairground rides, Zurich Kids’ Village, painting competition, bouncy castles, a massive garage sale and Emirates Leisure Retail food court all on offer. Members of the public are encouraged to donate to the garage sale and drop off brand-new or used items at Al Noor between 8:30am and 4pm on weekdays until 28th February.

Finally, the Al Noor Fun Fair Football Tournament at the Centre’s indoor sports auditorium will feature 20 teams of five-to-ten players. Teams can enter the tournament for a one-off entry fee of AED 3,000, with all proceeds going to Al Noor.
